Although this wasn't Matthew's real first haircut...this is the first one that wasn't done to get dreadlocked hair from his eyes and ears. Colleen's cousin, Shannon, is a hair stylist and offered to come to our house to cut his hair. His hair, for those who don't know, is a complete hot mess. He's rockin' the Albert Einstein do. Something had to be done and so we did it. She was fantastic with him as he put up just a little bit of resistance. In the end, though, the scissors prevailed.

....and don't worry, he's still rockin' his mullet curls in the back...and we're thinking he's going to have similar textured hair to Christopher, but blonde....time will tell.
He looks fantastic!! Shannon did an absolutely beautiful job. He looks like such a little gentleman, like he should be wearing a Great Gatsby suit and a boater hat! And it really brings out his eyes. So handsome!
