Easter Egg Dying

Friday was the beginning of our family's Easter gala.  We began by dying Easter Eggs at Aunt Bet.  Christopher was very apprehensive about the whole thing.  He really would have rather played with the toys there than dye the eggs...until we got started with the whole process.  He was then transformed into an egg-dying machine...spouting out dyed Easter eggs right and left....I think he did 16 eggs in about 5-minutes.

Even Matthew got into the fray...after being equally as apprehensive about this whole egg-dying fiasco.  He wouldn't try the actual dying, so we found another option of Easter egg paint.  We got into that with a bit of help from Colleen.  He did his one egg and all was well with the world.

  1. Nice job, Christopher! Those are some beautiful eggs. I'm glad he gave it a chance...egg dying is awesome! What exactly is Matthew doing in that last picture, though? Is he taking a moment to sniff the brush? :)

  2. Maybe...right before he tried to eat it! Kidding, of course.
