The temperature weekend before last was a tropical 59o F. This was a fantastic phenomenon, we thought, because of the 4 Nor'easters that we've experienced this last winter...the "Snowpocolypse" or "Snowmageddon" as the experience was titled by many locals. This seemed to be the winter that would press right through Spring and right to the summer months....an unforgiven bludgeoning that nature doled out on the American Northeast. Regardless, we took advantage of the "wonderful" weather and took Christopher outside for a few to get some steam out. We all seemed to have a good time.
One of Christopher's new "fun" things to do is sit on top of his big rubber ball, bounce up and down, and fall off. Doesn't seem like much fun to me, but, then again, I'm not a 2-year old with immeasurable amounts of pent-up energy.
After we were done with the bouncing-ball game, we played a little football. We practiced throwing the ball, and did some run-and-evade drills. The one thing that I learned from evaluating the "drills" is that my son is no speed-demon....which is good for us!
We got tired of that in about 2-minutes (his average attention span) and decided to use his dump truck as a riding toy. It wasn't built to be a riding toy, but it has apparently evolved into one that is more than functional for Christopher.

Oh, he's so cute! These pictures are adorable, especially the last one in the football series. And the whole dump truck thing just goes to show how resourceful Christopher is. What a clever little guy! I can't believe he's almost 2 now. Sheesh, where did the time go?
