Halloween and the Red Dragon

The night started off simple enough. Christopher got dressed up in his Red Dragon costume and all was well. Everyone was happy and we were about to head off to do some trick-or-treating....
...when he decided that he was tired of being the Red Dragon. Dad tried to comfort him to no avail, so the costume jacket came off for a short time while we drove off to Nana Marianne's and Pop-pop Bob's house. He slept all the way there, so he must have been been more tired than tired of the costume. He was then his usual calm, happy-go-lucky self....so the night festivities could resume with, hopefully, no further glitches...

Pop-pop and Nana's house was fine...they gave him candy for Halloween, which will likely end up being for Mommy rather than Christopher since he's not old enough for candy yet. If he misses it when he gets old enough we'll replace it post-haste. We left Pop-pop and Nana's to go to Cathy Sue's house, where he got some wonderful fruit Gerber babyfoods. We usually make Christopher's food in the wonderful Magic Bullet, but sometimes the jars are convenient for all day road trips, so we were all thankful for the sentiment. Then off to Mike and Shannon's house. We hung out with a lot of the family there...it was fun, but it was late. Christopher eventually became hungry and ready for bed, so we left there after a short stint and returned home. An overall successful night.

I played with him for a little bit after I got him out of the costume and then he was sent off to bed. All-in-all a successful first Halloween for the lad I would say.
